5 Questions with Jamie Samson
1. Where were you/what did you do before working at Seriously?
I came out of retirement to rejoin my former Fox colleagues at Seriously. I spent over 25 years at Fox serving in a wide variety of legal capacities including overseeing legal for consumer products, video gaming, mobile content, digital, Fox Networks and ad sales.
2. What is your current role at Seriously?
I act as Counsel for Seriously and am basically a jack of all legal trades. Anything legal from contracts, IP, privacy, content and problems comes to me for legal review or necessary action.
3. What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part of my job is that it keeps me active and vital. I enjoy making a positive contribution to the growth and well-being of a company I think is special and on the path to even greater accomplishments. And I enjoy the camaraderie with my Venice co-workers.
4. Who is your favorite Fiend or Slug and why?
She’s on my business card – Granny Slug, for the obvious reasons. We are kindred spirits. I am also pretty fond of Howie.
5. When you are not working at Seriously or playing Best Fiends, what do you enjoy doing?
Out of the office, some of my favorite activities are watching movies, finding new restaurants in LA, cooking, walking and reading. I am also an embarrassed Real Housewives fan.
